General context

Feedback is essential for collaboration and leadership, shaping both performance and motivation in research environments. Yet, many people struggle to give or receive it without discomfort. This interactive workshop offers practical tools for delivering feedback constructively and creating open conversations. Using evidence-based models and realistic practice, participants will learn how to structure feedback, ask for input effectively, and respond without defensiveness.

Learning outcomes

After this workshop, you will:

  • Deliver clear, specific, and constructive feedback with confidence.
  • Request and encourage feedback that leads to meaningful improvement.
  • Respond to feedback openly and without defensiveness.
Approach

This on-site, interactive workshop emphasizes hand-on practice:

  • Short theory input introducing a structured feedback model and practical techniques.
  • Live role-play exercises with a professional actor to simulate real scenarios.
  • Immediate, personalized feedback on participant interventions.
  • Individual reflection on feedback habits and strategies for applying new skills at work.
