General context
Self-leadership means taking ownership of your choices, recognizing your strengths, and aligning actions with your values. For scientists balancing high expectations and complex roles, effective communication, resilience, and career satisfaction are key.
This workshop helps you build self-awareness, confidence, and clarity in decision-making. Through reflection, peer exchange, and practical tools, you’ll gain strategies to handle professional challenges, define your personal vision, and strengthen your impact as a leader.
After this workshop, you will:
- Understand self-leadership and its role in effective decision-making and career growth.
- Increase self-awareness by identifying your values, strengths, and potential blind spots.
- Recognize how biases and external expectations influence your leadership style.
- Develop personal strategies to build resilience and handle professional challenges.
- Apply practical tools to enhance confidence, clarity, and communication in daily interactions.
This three-session online workshop blends guided self-reflection with practical tools and peer learning. Expect:
- Interactive activities such as small-group discussions, role-plays, and real-life case analysis.
- Personal exploration focused on values, strengths, and leadership style.
- A safe, small-group setting (max. 14) to encourage open dialogue and meaningful exchange.
You will leave with concrete strategies and tools to continue developing self-leadership in your professional and personal contexts.

The course was very well set-up, even though it was held through a Zoom session. The trainees did a lot of effort to keep a good balance and to do excercises and workshops during the "class". Usually I prefer to have a course in a classroom, but thanks to this system, it was very nice. The course was very nice and truely inspiring! By talking to the trainees and the other members, you start thinking about who you are and what you want in your life. it's a course that will stay with me for a while!
Participant edition 2023
The course was much better than expected. There were a lot of discussions, interactive activities and also introspection.
Participant edition 2022
This is the best training I have ever followed. It was not just theory. In these three days, I learned to talk to myself and to look at others in a different light. It also provided valuable tools that can be applied to everyday life.
