General context

Our always-on culture and constant digital stimulation can make it hard to truly disconnect from work. While flexibility has its benefits, being permanently connected can lead to overstimulation, stress, and concentration issues. This e-learning introduces practical strategies and exercises to help you and your team disconnect more consciously, recover effectively, and create healthy boundaries.

Learning outcomes

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Understand the impact of constant connectivity on focus and well-being.

  • Identify your own disconnection style and habits.

  • Apply practical tools and exercises to reduce techno-stress and enhance recovery.

  • Initiate team conversations on disconnection and set healthy norms.

Approach

Hands-on e-learning using a toolbox of practical exercises designed for both individuals and teams. Participants choose approaches that fit their context—whether optimizing tools, improving meeting culture, or strengthening personal recovery practices.

Event intended for

All VIB staff.
