General context

Joint event between Flanders Bioimaging & VIB

In this joint Flanders BioImaging & VIB Light sheet training event, we aim to bring together the imaging community. We want to look at the Flanders landscape and connect the different imaging communities of pre-clinical imaging and microscopy. We will start off with a poster session from the community and get updates on new possibilities on the preclinical side. Beyond that, we want to venture into new territory and explore light sheet and mesoscale solutions that are at the interface of preclinical and microscopy imaging.

Consequently, at the core of this event is a symposium on Light Sheet imaging, where we bring together the community, local experts, and leaders in the field to explore the latest advancements in light sheet microscopy. We will feature academics, and industry experts to discuss the state of the art.

Objectives

With this event, we aim to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and inspire innovation in this rapidly evolving field. Over the course of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to attend engaging talks, and network with peers who share a passion for light sheet microscopy.

Event intended for

Whether you’re a seasoned professional in imaging or new to this field, this event promises to be an exciting and enlightening experience.

As a community event, we will close the day with a reception to bring the communities together, celebrate, and discuss future projects.
