Managing stress and burnout - essentials
Managing stress and burnout - essentials
5 February 2026, 13h30 - 17h
General context
Stress is part of life, but when positive stress turns chronic, it can harm your health and performance. This introductory workshop explains how stress works, its impact on body and mind, and why lack of recovery is a major cause of stress-related problems. You’ll learn to recognize personal stress signals early and explore practical ways to restore balance and energy day after day.
After this session, you will be able to:
Distinguish between acute and chronic stress.
Identify early warning signs using reflection tools.
Understand how stress impacts sleep and recovery.
Apply Jacobson’s progressive relaxation technique.
Adjust habits to improve recovery and reduce tension.
A combination of theory and practical exercises, including relaxation techniques. Participants receive access to an app to continue practicing the Jacobson method after the course.
This session is an introduction to 2 follow-up sessions. Only if you participated in this introductory session, you can register for the in-depth sessions.

I really enjoyed the training and could understand better the result of stress in a practical way. And I felt understood as I could understand the different steps of my burnout, and how to not go back.
Participant edition 2025
I liked the session. The coach explained it in an engaging way and I appreciated how he was open for questions and discussions. I really liked to learn about the different brain states and I also liked the exercise.
