Professional Skillset Training for Support Staff: Self-leadership & Communication

General context
Introduction to a fresh and pragmatic approach to self-leadership and communication within your daily work routine.
In this initial module of the professional skillset training, our focus is on enhancing your communication skills to boost efficiency, fortify connections with your manager & team, amplify your impact, and foster well-being in the workplace. While understanding how to communicate effectively is essential, the true test lies in its practical application. So, through role-playing exercises, hands-on communication drills and immersive real-life scenario analysis, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with your communication and presentation style within a supportive environment, fostering shared growth and experience.
Questions such as "How should I navigate this situation?”, "What defines leadership for me?" and "I have a message, but how do I effectively convey it?" will be addressed. We'll delve deeper into your unique talents and abilities, exploring your leadership DNA and providing you with tools to unlock your leadership potential.
This training will be a combination of theory, role playing, exercises and situation analysis. The focus will be on practicing.
The in person half-a-day training will be followed by an online follow-up of 2 hours to recapitulate and discuss how what you learned could be implemented and if there were possible challenges.

As a professional Life-work company coach, Barbara is always looking for new challenges with focus on continued improvement. Science is her second passion and this suitcase of knowledge and her 11y experience as a lab manager have become the foundation of her career as coach. She has taken new but known steps in the world of coaching, mentoring and work on the skills such as life-work balance, management communication, leadership training, talent development and competence performance & performance management.
In 2021, Barbara started her own practice B-Management Coaching & Consulting to share her passion and experience. To help people step out of their comfort zone in a safe way with their own specific talents and competence is her main goal, which is essential for self-development and enforcement in a company. And of course important for both the employee as the team leader! Because management of change starts from within oneself and clear communication between each other.
